Pop Pop has a beautiful set of Lionel trains with a raised track in the basement. I think the best description of Owen's reaction to the trains is "delighted terror" (coined by one of my favorite authors, Catherine Newman). Owen would cling to Mommy when the train went around the track, but he was always asking for more..."Pop Pop, choo choo!"
Here the boys watch the train go around and around...John and Owen are lucky cousins to get to play trains with their Pop Pop.

Such a joy to look at all your pictures and read about your activities. It certainly looks like everybody had a wonderful time over July 4th. I hope that the boys are feeling much better soon.
